VANGARD offers a wide range of lifelines, with different attachment hooks (tested to ANSI Z359.13-2013) that help the user securely attach to an anchor point while performing work at height.
The shock absorbers on these lifelines are tested for use in 6-foot free falls.
This range of shock absorbing lifelines performs shock absorption through the use of an external bundle, which is made of a special tape, protected by a transparent sheath.
In the event of an accident, the package, which is located at the end of the lifeline attached to the harness, will decelerate the body during the fall.
Its mechanism works by breaking the cover and deploying the webbing contained inside, achieving deceleration as it is extended, thus decreasing the impact force generated on the user in the event of a fall.
