- Vangard self-retracting lines are personal protective equipment and should only be used by one person at a time. During the user's movements, the cable is rewound and unwound on the internal pulley system.
- In the event of a fall, the system blocks the unwinding of the cable and instantly interrupts the initiated fall, the arrest will be less than 50 cm, remaining well below the limit of 1.067 m established by ANSI/ASSP Z359.14-2021.
